Wednesday 7 PM

What a great day of grooming! It was really a rush to see the 10-12 inches of new snow get attacked by 5 highly skilled groomers and a loader operator moving snow into a skiable and parkable situation in 5 hours. We groomed all 95 km with both Pisten Bullies and both single track groomers. Yes it took multiple passes but skate lanes turned out firm and tracks are roc solid. With temps in the teens it looks good for the next few days.

Everet’s , Rock Fence and Sandpoint all had cancellations for this week and weekend, (Pretty unusual to get your name on these cabins for this prime weekend and for the years to come.

I plan to Pisen Bully touch up a bit in the early AM, otherwise tracks and skate lanes look great for Thursday.

Tuesday 7 PM

We received about 4 -6 inches of snow in the last 12 hours. Groomers were out this morning grooming 75 km of trails until 10:30 AM . The snow was coming down pretty heavy after lunch.

We will be back out grooming early AM tomorrow with a team of 4 groomers including both Pisten Bullies.

Jack Pine Trail mid afternoon

Tuesday 6 PM

We woke up to an inch or 2 of snow at 5 AM, I took out one of the Pisten Bullies and groomed up some of old ABR…at 10 AM Wully Bully and I teamed up on lighter equipment and 108 Ginzu and 84 Ginzu and groomed and regroomed 35 km of combi trails until 2:30 PM.

Both Pisten Bullies and both single track groomers will be out in the AM… but not early AM like normal. We are starting at 8 AM so if you arrive at 9 AM when we open you should have fresh tracks and cordoroy. We plan to groom until about noon.

Rock fence cabin canceled and is open from Tuesday until next Monday. Rascals has an opening Tuesday Wednesday.

Sunday 7 PM

Nice mild temps today for great skiing! Both Pisten Bullies were out early AM and both single track groomers were out. All the single tracks were groomed with 2 passes and the Pisten Bullies covered all the combi trails except Peltonen, Ridge Runner and Rascals (they skied well except for a bit of windblown)

Wully Bully and Pig Heart on duty for Monday..we will see what the storm does and groom accordingly.

Saturday 6:30 PM

We had a great crew out this early, early morning, Wide Track on the Single Tracks and Pig Heart with the bigger Pisten Bully grooming the Noth end and Crasher grooming the South end. We groomed all 95 km of trails and were back in the barn at 9 AM…

Skiing was great today, most skiers started at 10:30-12 when temps warmed up. A great mix of “out of town” skiers up for weekend skiing 2-3 days recreational skiers, local recreational skiers and skiers wanting the hard tracks and firm PB skate lanes as they get one of their last skis in before the Birkie.

We plan to regroom about 75 km in the AM . Wide Track and Partner heading out in the early AM to regroom classics. Crasher and Pig Heart heading out to powertill with the 2 Pisten Bullies. Pig Heart is heading south; Crasher is heading North, We do not plan to regroom the 3 black Diamond trails Pelty, Ridge Runner, or Dog Trails. Theya re lightly used and in very good shape, there may be a bit of drifting in the open areas.
