Friday 6:45 PM

Wide Track and Pig Heart groomed a mid morning shift today. It was a bit blustery with white out conditions about 4-5 PM. The storm seems to have calmed for now.

Both Pisten Bullies are heading out in the early AM and Widetrack plans to regroom all the single track in the AM. Ridge Runner is going back to skating Saturday AM.

Thursday 7 :15 PM

Groomers slept in this morning. Trails were in great shape.

Beth and Dorothy skied by as I was doing trailhead maintenance late morning. The Icelandic sweaters caught my eye. They seemed so warm and happy at 6 above. They skied over from Everet’s Rustic Cabin and were enjoying a few days of Mother/ Daughter skiing and hanging out. This is the experience that keeps Angela and I motivated to run our ski trails. It is so satisfying to see people out enjoying the outdoors.

Wide Track and Pig Heart are heading out grooming in the morning.

Wednesday 7 PM

Great skiing today, warm temps, no wind and fresh grooming!

Crasher and Pig Heart widened and retracked the single tracks near home…about 20 km, “Partner” groomed all the skating, except the “most difficult” about 40 km

Pig Heart is scheduled to regroom skate lanes in the morning on trails as needed.

Tuesday 7;30

Just a bit of touch up grooming today, Trails are skiing well. Wednesday we are working on more touch up grooming and widening and packing pole plants on classic only trails. 3 grooomers scheduled for early AM.

Mon 7 PM

Crasher was out in the smaller PB touching up skate lanes on River, Sulos and the Highlands. He set track on Ridge Runner with the PB so classic skiers will enjoy Ridge Runner for another few days. (Ridge Runner will be back to Skating Friday morning or Saturday morning at the latest.). The Pisten Bully groomed about 30 km this morning.

Tomorrow may be a day off from grooming and we plan to do some basic maintenance on the groomers and sleep in a bit. Trails are in great shape.

Wednesday we plan to regroom classics and widen them and give them a good rework.
