ABR Trails

We groomed about 40 km this morning, mainly touch up on the skate lanes but we did powertill and retrack about 10 k. the tracks were nice and solid and debris free today.

It is snowing we are expecting about an inch or less tonight; we will regroom in the morning.

Just coming in from checking trails. The tracks are solid and not abused. We plan to regroom all of the skate lanes again in the AM.

Skiing today was reported as excellent…all white, deep base, firm tracks and skate lanes, no ice and sunshine with temps in the 20’s! Does it get better?

We groomed up all 70 km of trails last night and early this morning. The trails had great reviews today, the new snow groomed in very well. Fast but not icey.

Just coming from grooming with the Pisten Bully. The trails are grooming up perfect and skiing Sunday AM should be excellent. the single tracks will be regroomed early moring as well we have a crew coming in early Sunday.

I apologise if some skiers are offended by us checking ski tickets. We have had a reason to check tickets and we hired a ticket checker. Please purchase your day pass before skiing …and DISPLAY your ticket on your jacket, pants, ski pole, water bottle, or hat.

We spend alot of time and money on timely:  grooming 70 km daily, maintaining/plowing  parking lots, cleaning and stocking  (3)  “indoor heated flush toilet restrooms” and 6 out door “porta potties” , providing 4 wax stations in a heated area, staffing a full service desk , monitoring self service concessions….. and we pay insurance and taxes on our private ski area. We really want to collect our posted fees from all the skiers that use our facility (before they ski).

We had a great day of skiing today with the milder temps and no wind. We groomed about 60 km this morning including retracking most of the trail system. We will be back out in the AM
