We received about an inch or less of snow this morning before grooming, but with the high winds the trails needed a pretty thorough re groom and retracking. We tracked all the single tracks and most of the combination trails. All skating lanes were groomed except the dog trails. We have a crew to regroom in the AM and the winds are forecast to stop tonight…with temps in the twenties it looks like a nice weekend of skiing! The Hemlock Cabin is open for Friday or Saturday night
Rustic Cabins open
Feb 6 and 7th Hemlock Cabin is open. Februaury 13 and 14th Cherry Cabin is open. We groomed 65 km of trails this morning after an inch of snow. The wind did blow and we picked up another inch of snow after grooming at 9 AM. We will be back out in the AM regrooming.
Sunday 10 PM
We groomed 68 km this morning and last night and the trails and skiing was perfect. We are getting a bit of snow tonight and we will groom as needed in the AM
Saturday 6 PM
We had another great day of skiing. It snowed 2 inches during the day after we groomed this morning. The Pisten Bully is headed out tonight and we will be retracking single tracks in the AM ….our mid winter clothing refill order came in today…check out the new stock.
Thursday 9 PM
We woke up to beautiful looking trails this morning at 5 AM. However when we looked closely and checked the tracks they had a glaze from a frozen mist overnight! We had a crew of 5 of us regroom 65 km and reset all tracks which were ready for skiing at 9 AM. Skiing was again super this morning. Skiing was not icey but soft and firm …..and skiable for all levels of skiers.
It is snowing tonight and we have a crew on schedule for an early moring grooming again in the morning Friday.
