Well after 4 days of nice cool temps and daily snowfall the cycle is warming back up. The snow is melting from the bottom up and we are not able to open for skiing this weekend.

We have received about 3-4 inches of snow today and it continues to snow. It is exciting to see the ground white again and mosquitos gone! Will we open for skiing???? We have in the past opened 3 seasons out of the past 18 seasons for a weekend of skiing in October. Looking at the forecast it looks good for a few days and then warm for the weeekend. We will keep you posted but October skiing is possible.
The fall colors are peaking. I hope to get the camera working this week!
