The snow has let up for now. We have 50 km groomed and tracked and another 10 k packed . The classic tracks are looking good and coverage is very good.
Sunday Early AM
The groomers and plows are out, we are at a good solid 6 inches of new snow. Trails should be nice today!
Saturday 5 PM
We had a good turnout of skiers today despite the thin base. It is snowing now and we are forecast to get 4-6 inches tonight. We have 5 groomers coming in early in the morning to get the snow groomed and ready for 9 AM.
Friday PM
We had good early season skiing today on 15 km of trail. We do have some grass coming through and some of the large bluffs not holding snow but the main trails are very skiable and skiers were satisifed today. Make sure to read the trail report board before heading out.
Thursday PM
Open in the AM! Just coming in from the evening grooming shift. What I am seeing out there on the core trails : 15-20 km will be skiable at 9 AM Friday! The temps are at 13 now and dsropping so I think it will freeze down well. We have been working the trails most of the day with 4 groomers. We will not have any tracks set and there is a chance you may hit some debris with the thin base. The wide grassy trails will provide the safest ; coverage ask at the trailhead for current conditions. When more snow arrives we will open additional k.
