Just coming in from the nightly grooming cyle with SKi Rider and Mini Mike. The task tonight was smoothing ruts and roughing up hard pack…like the primer for paint. The trails are looking good. We concentrated on all of the hills tonight and the early AM crew will take care of the finish coat.
Snowing
We are just coming in from grooming and the trails are smoothed out ready for the new snow falling. The hilly trails had berms on the down hills from snow plowing and these were smoothed out and should freeze down well. The new snow should groom in well with the base. We have a crew heading out in the early AM hours to do a grooming.
NEW Tracks
We reset about 40 km of new tracks this morning and groomed 35 km of skate lanes. Lots of good reports today on the fresh tracks. The trails are holding up well with daily grooming. The afternoons the hills do get a bit rutted but are fine after regrooming in the early AM

Rustic Cabin Open for Friday
We have a Rustic Cabin open for Friday night….a last minute cancel. The trails groomed up well this morning, we received just a dusting of snow overnight but it worked in well. We set about 30 k of new classic tracks and groomed 40 km of skating.
