Snow in October

We have received about 3-4 inches of snow today and it continues to snow. It is exciting to see the ground white again and mosquitos gone! Will we open for skiing???? We have in the past opened 3 seasons out of the past 18 seasons for a weekend of skiing in October. Looking at the forecast it looks good for a few days and then warm for the weeekend. We will keep you posted but October skiing is possible.

Fall colors

The fall colors are peaking. I hope to get the camera working this week!

The trail mowing concluded tonight after finishing the Woodward Trail and SISU Connector Trail

Closed for the Season

We closed for the season tonight at 5 PM after 106 days of skiing and 164 inches of snow. We skied from Thanksgiving thru Easter with a few days of down time. Thank you for your support with day tickets, season passes and ski shop business. Have a nice summer and we look forward to seeing you next fall! Eric and Angela

Back to skiing

The rain stopped about 10:30 and we had about 40 skiers out today. Conditions were quite good for the temps of 39 and after a few hours of rain. The thick snow base absorbed the rain and the trail stayed firm and not icy because of the temps. I am headed out tonight to regroo again with the PB and we will be out in the AM regrooming. I am expecting some pretty good spring skiing for Sunday….our last day of the season.
