Oct 3rd we are getting our official first snow fall! The mowers were out finishing the last of the mowing yesterday.
A full service ski touring center located on over 1100 scenic acres of varied terrain along the Montreal River in Ironwood Michigan.
We sold thru our mountains of nice dry hardwood . We do have an inventory of dry wood for those customers that ordered this summer that we are still delivering this month.
If you want nice seasoned dry hardwood cut a year ahead for next year, call so we put you on the list. We really do not like to sell green/unseasoned firewood, but since there appears to be a shortage in the area so we are cutting and delivering more firewood for this fall.
We have been processing firewood and delivering. We are set up on US2 between Ironwood and Bessemer…..Keeping very busy! Checkout the new Firewood link on the home page or www.US2Firewood.com
After 127 days of skiing, and 114 days of grooming, we are closing for the season. Even though we still have lots of snow on the trails we schedule to close the last weekend of March every year. We want to thank all of our day skiers, season pass holders, and shoppers for their support. See you in November. The ski shop and trails are all closed for the season.
Just coming in from the nightly grooming routine, the trails are looking good! Comments today were what a nice way to end the ski season with such good conditions. We will be back out in the early AM hours grooming the rest of the trails. We are open one more day Sunday, come on out for a ski and check out the ski shop sale Angela and Ellen marked the center racks of clothing down to 40 % off for the last day of the seaon Sunday.
