Merry Christmas 8:30 PM

We had a great day of skiing today, the snow was cold dry powder. We are all watching and waiting to see what the weather brings us tonight and in the AM……

Good News: it is 28 degrees at 8:30 PM it snowed for a short time and then turned to ice pellets.

Bad news: forecast says it may rain later?

Good News; the new snow will absorb some moisture.

Bad news : it will warm up until 9 AM and then drop below freezing causing icy trails?

Good News: We have enough snow base to re-groom and we have 5 groomers coming in the AM waiting for the right temp to groom.

Conclusion: I would head north for some good skiing but I would not rush; wait for the roads to get salted since  the best skiing Monday will be mid day not at 9 AM. The rest of the week looks very favorable for skiing!

Saturday 6 PM

We had a good day of skiing today, The groomer crew was only 4  groomers this morning but all classic only trails were reset and all skate lanes were regroomed except the Dog Trails which the Pisten Bully took care of yesterday.  We are open Holidays such as Christmas and New Years

Friday 6 PM

The trails groomed up real nicely this morning and last night. Skiing today was perfect. most of the trails are being reported as skiing and grooming in mid winter conditions. We are open over the Holidays with the same hours as normal Ski Shop 9-4,  Ski trails  9 to dark.  We have a full groom crew on for early AM grooming.

Thursday 8:30 PM

Just coming in from grooming with the Pisten Bully. The Dog Trails Cherry and Pelt Entrance were looking good! We set track this morning on about 40 km and we touched up skate lanes on 50 km. We will be back out  grooming in the early AM

Conditions are mid winter, full depth tracks and flat and firm!

Wednesday 7 PM

Trails groomed up well this morning; we set about 30 km of single track and re-groomed about 35 km of skate lanes, then we received another 1 inch or 2 of snow during the late morning. Groomers will be back out in the early AM .
