It has been a recreational skiers paradise.
We got above freezing today but basically the snow did not transform much except a few southern facing areas. Skiing was very good to excellent today.
A full service ski touring center located on over 1100 scenic acres of varied terrain along the Montreal River in Ironwood Michigan.
Just coming in from our groomers appreciation dinner. The trails will be regroomed in the early AM and skiing has been super!
The trails were perfect today after the regrooming. We will be grooming the Dog Trails in the AM and leaving the other 60 + km alone for the AM .
The snow added up to about a foot of snow today and last night….that is on top of the 1/2 foot from yesterday. That’s what we are used to measuring snow in “feet”. The groomers were out for a long shift this morning including the Pisten Bully. They will be back out tonight and in the morning. About 20 km was powertilled, most of it twice, and about 40 km of tracks set 2-3 times this morning.
The Pisten Bully and all the groomers and the plow truck are out working
