Monday PM

3 of us spent our 6 hour grooming shift on the first 28 km of the SISU course , widening and grooming and signing. It is looking excellent with no thin areas  and a firm base. The trails are skiing very well. We plan to work on the 28-34 km mark Tuesday. Skiing maybe be a bit icy  Tuesday AM until the temps warm up the trails, we will not be powertilling on Tuesday.

Sunday PM

Skiers reported today as the best skiing ever; 28 degrees sunshine and a firm but silky base. Tracks are firm and clean.

Sunday 6 AM

What a nice day of skiing yesterday! 23 and fresh snow. All the trails were regroomed yesterday and tracks set. The Pisten Bully was out powertilling and mixing the fresh snow in with the base. Today the groomers are out grooming skate lanes and it should be another nice day of skiing.

Saturday 9 AM

1 inch of new snow overnight and all 60 + km groomed last night and this morning. Skiing should be perfect today!

Friday 9:30 PM

I am just coming in from grooming with the Pisten Bully tonight and the trails are looking nice, full depth tracks and crisp cordoroy.  We are able to bring up dry powder with the blade and powertiller. Temps were warm again today but the snow surface  is staying nice. We have had a significant amout of snow; we are at 51 inches for this year compared to 69 inches last year.

The morning groomer shift will be back out early resetting classic and completing the skate lanes.
