The trails had great reviews today. Some reporting the best ski of the season as reported by Bob, an ABR  senior  season pass holder from Rochester MN hit his 400 k mark here today on White Pine…(all k’s logged on ABR Trails)

March 7th Saturday from 12 noon to 2 PM

Taste of the Trails

Ski along the ABR Ski Trails and sample our local cuisine and specialties of our local restaurants.  6 Restaurants will have tables set up from the trailhead along a designated easy route out on the River Trail to the warm up shack. You can ski or snowshoe on the River Trail to the food booths. It is a 1 mile round trip route.  There is no special cost for the event, just buy a trail pass and pay the food costs at each booth. Typically $2-4

  1.  The Kimball Inn– Smoked Chicken, Jumbalya, and a Seafood Bisque or Clam Chowder

Sunday 8 PM

We had a good weekend of skiing. It snowed an inch or 2 every night and we regroomed 68 km each night and early morning. It snowed 2 inches during Sunday, today and we have a full crew of groomers on schedule for Monday early morning!

Friday 9 PM

Second shift of groomers are just coming in tonight and reporting excellent conditions out on the trails. The Pisten Bully is grooming full width and depth with a 15 inch base. First shift will complete retracking classic only trails and touch up grooming on the 70 km groomed trail system. The snowshoe trail is packed as well.
