Thursday 7 PM

The grooming clinic went well this week and we all learned from each other. We had a good turn out from the Midwest including North Dakota.

The trails are skiing well, the dusting of snow overnight was groomed on 30 km of skate trails, the classic tracks are perfect.  We will be touching up skate lanes again in the AM and powertilling some of the combination trails

Sunday 6 AM

The SISU Ski Fest went well yesterday and the weather cooperated. We have the course regroomed and ready for day skiing again today

Friday 11 PM

I see I have been absent from my posting….Skiing and snow conditions have been perfect, although temps cool.

We have full grooming crews out prepping for the SISU Ski Fest this Saturday AM . The course is in great shape as we are just coming in from the nightly grooming with 6 of us. The Pisten Bully was in to town and back aleady this morning with 2 groomers and the course is looking super. We will be back out in the AM to touch up the “in to town route” and push snow across the roads..

Day skiers not racing are able to ski about 25 km of tracks or skate on 11 km of non race trails. All trails will be open after 1 PM.

Wednesday 8 PM

Just coming in from a long shift in the Pisten Bully, grooming the SISU Ski Fest Trail. If my tail is dragging I can’t imagine how the PB is feeling, 175 HP Mercedes Diesel working in the cold temps (I put her in the barn for tonight with extra grain)….The race course is coming along super, we are keeping up with the snowfalls and drifting from last night. The trail is wide and hard  and smooth and dry. All 8 groomers are working and ready for the SISU Ski Fest Saturday.

Groomers were out on ABR grooming the single track as well and the classic trails today were very nice.

We will back out in the morning grooming the SISU and the ABR Trails
