Thursday 6:30 PM

Big Heart and Little Heart were out renovating and tilling up the old ABR 20-25 km of combi trails (North of Highlands) this morning….it was icy prior to grooming. It’s that freeze thaw, high sun deal for the beautiful March skiing we get here. Ski at 9 AM on the fresh groom that’s controllable on the Pisten Bully groomed combi trails or ski after it softens on ungroomed trails.

I saw there is a 30-50% off ski shop sale on apparel…for the last 3 days of being open Friday Saturday Sunday.

We plan to regroom with both Pisten Bullies in the AM Friday.

Wednesday 7 :15 PM

We had 2 groomers out this morning on light equipment and then the Pisten Bully tilled up a few k close to home and reset track. It was for sure spring skiing but no thin areas. We groomed about 32 km today. ..temps are warm but transformed snow groomed with the Pisten Bullys grooming it all season long…it only gets soft an inch. We are open until Sunday 4 PM

Tuesday 7:30 PM

Great Spring weather. Warm temp, sunshine and a good base of snow.. Timing is everything…icy in the early AM, slow in the afternoon. We are grooming daily and picking out of our well stocked arsenal of groomers, which to use. Wednesday we are most likely picking on the light side of groomers, 2 of us will be out there, most likely working skate lanes and leaving classic tracks alone. The Pisten Bully trails / combi trails are and will be skiing well for another 5-7 days.

Today we groomed the skate lanes on about 40 km of trails.

Monday 7:30 PM

Crasher and Pig Heart groomed most of the combi trails with light equipment today, (Big Heart and Little Heart stayed in their stalls this morning). The the combi and single tracks are world class today. Skate lanes firm and very skiable “natural snow”. Classic tracks are firm rails but Extra Blue was kicking today both on the combi Pisten Bully groomed and classic only. We have all 95 km open and are regroomed as needed again in the early AM.

Everet’s cabin is open this weekend

Sunday 7 PM (8 PM daylight savings time)

Trails had great reviews on conditions today, we groomed all 95 km of trails now that the 1 week brushing project is complete after the storm. Some of the trails like Rudy’s Shoot and Highlands extension were a bit soft today because they just got brushed and groomed today; 91 km were in great shape, cold dry powder, firm but not icy.

What a great season 115 days long only closed 1 day. Looks like this winter will outlast ABR’s closing date this March. We close the Ski Trails, Ski Shop, Rental cabins, and the Season Pass sale in 7 days, March 20th, 4 PM. Thank you to our customers for your support and attendance.
