ABR Trails

Wully Bully and Snow Cross buffed out all the combination trails again, Pig Heart took a ride on the 30 k SISU Trail. The SISU Trail is looking real nice and has a great flow with the few tweaks we made this year.

I met this group of ladies skiing on the new White Pine which is one of the SISU Trail improvements.

Pig Heart, Snow Cross and Willy Bully groomed up all the combination trails, about 56.6 km today and set new tracks on about 20 km…the we headed to the SISU Trail worker bee with pole saws and chainsaws and with 16 other ambitious volunteers we covered 4 km of the SISU race course trail between Anderson Bluff and River Trail Foundation property and the Miners Memorial Heritage Park.

sorry I am late with the 6 pm trail report, working on last minute organizing on the SISU work bee tommorow 10-12..

the trails groomed up well, Crasher took care of the the south,combination trails, wide track and partner took care of the classics, pig heart ran the larger Pisten Bully on ‘old ABR’’

The team of 3 groomers got er done this early morning. New tracks to the south on Puumala and other classics to the south. All the combintrails got skates groomed. Wide track and Crasher headed out on Rudy’s shoot to open it up for the season, it is a dog friendly trail that links the dog trails to Memory Lane. We had our first skier on the new ‘Historic Trail’ it links Deer Trail or Jacks Flats to the Erwin Township Historical Society museum and trails.

we picked up 2-3 inches of snow during the day, we have 4 groomers including at least one of the Pisten Bullies out early in the morning. We are skiing on all 101 km of trails

I am just coming in from grooming trails and checking trails; the conditions are very good for midwinter and super for Dec ember 9th, We are skiing on most of the trail system or about 90 K

Pig Heart and Crasher are heading out on regrooming skate lanes on combi trails, PB tracks are looking perfect, We may reset some track on the Highlands. Wide Track is heading out to the south to regroom the Puumala Trails and otter Slide/wolf tracks as needed,
