we are just coming back with both Bullies from the morning groom cycle. The new snow md colder temps let us groom with the bigger equipment this morning. Wide track is just finishing up on the single tracks. The woods are pretty as a Linda Slining Christmas card!
Pig Heart and Crasher groomed 55 km of combination trails today be light snow falling. The snow continued and it is snowing now. Groomers will be back out in the morning….looks like it should be great skiing again tommorow.
we groomed about 55 km this morning on the combination trails. The base is firm and skiable we had 40-50 skiers out. The ones that skied between 10;30-1:30 had the best conditions…the others were fine but skiing in the rain. Full crew on the schedule for early morning. Snow is forecast for tonight and all day Tuesday.
we are just coming in from a 2 hour light groom cycle and we are both soaked. It started raining about 7:30. We groomed about 50 km of skate lanes. The classic tracks are well formed from yesterday but are glazed from the las 2 hours of rain.. the forecast is calling for snow early afternoon….
seems like February weather, the warm weather has been great for skiing. Snow conditions have been super over the weekend…we have received over 10 ft of snowfall to date for this winter! We had both Pisten Bullies out early this morning and Wide Track on the single tracks. The trails are in great shape. Crasher and Pig Heart are on schedule for a light groom in the am Monday. Wintry mix forecast for Monday….Sandpoint cabin cancellation for next Thursday Friday saturday
