Tastes on the Trail – Saturday March 18th 12-2pm

Pig Heart, Crasher and Snow cross groomed up 87k of trails this morning. The trails tilled up well mixing the old snow with the new 2-3 inches from yesterday. The snow skied like cold dry powder until about 1 pm, some southern slopes started to get grabby, not soft….it is part of snow transforming. It should be great skiing tomorrow too, we are regrooming most of the combo trails and a few classic only.

Monday 6 pm
we woke up to 1 inch of snow at 5 am and then it snowed until 1 pm….not heavy but steady. Snow Cross and Pig Heart groomed from 7- 1:30 with light equipment during the day to keep up with the snow..
we have a full crew out in the early am to get the classic only trails groomed, and both Pisten Bullies to groom the combination trails as needed.
we are getting a great response from our Taste of the Trails Restaurants for our Event March 18th on our closing weekend.
Sunday March 5th 7 pm
Full groomer crew showed up this early morning…we groomed 88 km by 9 am and had both Pisten Bullies and both Bear Cats parked and were having coffee!!
2 groomers on schedule for mid morning 7 am, we will groom as needed based on the snowfall and temps…we will have 20-50 km available for skiing.we open at 9 AM CST , no exceptions for early skiing…we plan our grooming based on 9 am opening.
it has been a great season, we have had great skiing this season, we are only open 2 more weeks…if you want to purchase your season pass at the discounted rate please do so in the next 2 weeks.
Saturday 7 pm
great day of skiing today, we had both Pisten Bullies out powertilling the snow, it was mostly cold dry powder.. the classic only groomers groomed up all the classics except Puumala. . Full 4 person crew in Sunday grooming. Season passes at discount rates until April 1. Trails close March 19th, if you want to purchase a discount season pass for next season with a credit card stop in before March 19th, otherwise you can renew your membership with a check in the mail.
