The Pisten Bully has been out firming the new snow and the snowmobiles and new John Deere Gator have been out as well.
Demo Days
We had good snow for Demo Days. The groomers were out during the night and again this early morning to get the snow firm and tracked for the event. However due to driving conditions and schedules only Atomic, Fischer and Swix were able to attend. The wax clinic was presented by Swix.
Pisten Bully saves the weekend
We did get some snow this weekend, 6 -8 inches so far. We are used to that and the trails were groomed the last 12 hours with several groomers including the Pisten Bully. The trails were kept skiable and firm with the grooming and are in excellent shape. Demo days are on for Sunday, we only have had one ski supplier (Madshus/Toko) cancel due to bad driving conditions to get here Saturday. We are planning on the Wax clinc this Sunday at 3 PM by Swix,
Excellent Conditions Today
We groomed all the trails this morning and they turned out perfect. Conditions were rated as excellent. The sun was out and the snow had great glide.
Non stop snow for the past week
We have been getting snow daily now for a week, mainly lake effect. We have had 3-4 groomers out daily keeping up with the new snow. Trails are in great shape and the Highlands are open! Sunday is demo days with reps from Atomic, Fischer, Salomon, Alpina, Peltonen, Madshus, Toko and Swix. Toko wax clinic at 3 PM.
