We had a good busy day at ABR today…It started with grooming 60 km of the 73 KM early this morning…. then at 9:00 AM the Wakefield/Marenesco 2nd Grade Class spend the day here , with normal day skiers during the day and the Clydesdales at 4 P m and the “Thoroughbreds” at 4:15 PM, then the Superior Snowshoe Group at 6:30-7:30 PM. It was so nice to see the new snow and the trails being used and people enjoying them! the groomers are heading out in the AM to shape up the trails. We are finalizing the schedule/menu for the Taste of the Trails Saturday March 4th at 11:30-2:00.
We received about 2 inches of a heavy wet snow today with the temps right at 30-32. We are waiting to groom until early AM to groom since the temps are dropping and the snow is drying out. We plan to re groom about 55-60 km of trail and reset tracks. The Clydesdales meet at 4 PM Wednesday and the Superior Snowshoe group meets here at 6-6:30 PM. The Ski Shop will stay open until 6:30 with 30% OFF all center racks of clothing! The Discount Season passes remain on Sale for discounted rates, ski free the rest of this season and all of next season…..Taste of the Trails March 4th, Saturday 11:30-2 PM!
Just coming in from checking the trails…They are looking good, we groomed 45 km this morning and late last night and reset tracks all of the combo trails except Sulos. Mark your calendar for the 12th Annual Taste of the Trails Saturday from 12-2. Local Restaurants from around the area will be attending selling small portions of their restaurant. It is a great way to ski and eat and see the local restaurants that we have.
We had another great day of skiing today! It snowed another 3 inches today, 65 km of trails this morning, the skiing was super! We are heading out again in the early AM to re groom and skiing should be perfect at 9 AM!
