Thursday 6 pm

we received about 8 inches of heavy wet snow this morning, it started about 3 am and ended about 10 am. 4 groomers were out during the heavy snowfall keeping up with multiple passes. Yes it was tricky grooming and time consuming but we got about 82 km groomed and very skiable by 10 am with your best skis. We plan to have one of the Pisten Bullies back out in the early morning with a snowmobile to tidy up the last 20 km.

we are over 6 feet of snowfall for the season, and the conditions are mid winter.

the Kaartunen house is open for the next 10 days, call if you are interested in a few days or the entire 10 days

the lunch box special from the Sulfolk Eatery is back for Saturday, check the abr face book page for the menu.

Wednesday 6 pm

Snow Cross and Pig Heart groomed for 2 hours this morning on the main trails during a wintry mix event. We had about 10 km skiable until noon and then the new snow made most of the trails skiable. We have a 5 person crew early in the morning to groom the forecast 4-8 inches of new snow.

Tuesday 11 Am

Wully Bully and Snow Cross buffed out all the combination trails again, Pig Heart took a ride on the 30 k SISU Trail. The SISU Trail is looking real nice and has a great flow with the few tweaks we made this year.

I met this group of ladies skiing on the new White Pine which is one of the SISU Trail improvements.

Monday 6 pm

Pig Heart, Snow Cross and Willy Bully groomed up all the combination trails, about 56.6 km today and set new tracks on about 20 km…the we headed to the SISU Trail worker bee with pole saws and chainsaws and with 16 other ambitious volunteers we covered 4 km of the SISU race course trail between Anderson Bluff and River Trail Foundation property and the Miners Memorial Heritage Park.

Lodging open in the Kaartunen house This weekend and or next week, cancellation also on Sandpoint rustic cabin.
