Wednesday 6 pm

We had a groomers meeting with 5 of us this morning. We discussed plans to survive the warmer temps coming up this weekend. We came up with 4 loops totally about 10 k of gentle terrain using multiple trails and new connectors that holds snow well and is fairly debris free. We then set out in 3 groups and hauled snow, shoveled snow and beefed up the weak areas. We finished the day by grooming the 10 k loops. Some of the new short connectors were soft but overall skiers were quite impressed.

in conclusion, we have a 10 k loop for good skis and we have an additional 30 km open but for b skis due to debris.

Tues 8pm

Groomed 40k today. Crew headed out in the morning to groom 30k & shovel in some thin spots. The base is holding up.

Monday 6 pm

2 groomers were out again this morning grooming about 34 km of trails. They are sticking to the main combination trails without big hills. Chance of snow tonight. 2 groomers will be back out in the morning. Conditions remain thin with some debris brought up from the Pisten Bully, but skiers are happy to be out.

Sunday 5 pm

We groomed about 42 km of trails again this morning including 8 k of new classic track. Since the temps froze down last night I took the Pisten Bully out this morning to help with grooming chores. Wide Track and Crasher took care of the skate lanes on the combination trails and I powertilled about 8 km of the closer trails including resetting the classic track. There was some “collateral damage” ….some leaves and debris was brought to the surface.

A grooming team is heading out in the morning to regroom about 30 km of skate lanes on the main trails.

Sunday 9 am

the Pisten Bully was out along with 2 smaller groomers, the dusting of snow groomed up well…a few dirt spots but overal good skiing on a 3 inch base
