The temps were warm againtoday but we powertilled about 12 km and had skiers pleased with spring like conditions. It is cooling off tonight and we will be back out in teh AM to regroom . The base is holding up fine.
The temps have been warm but…
we have been freezing at night and have been grooming in the morning. The Pisten Bully groomed this morning and skiing was spring like but still rated very good. We have plenty of snow! The Clydesdales had a good ski tonight even in the mild tmeps the track was solid, a few soft pole plants but very skiable even at 4 PM. Thursday seems warm again and springlike conditions and then back to winter for the weekend.
The new snow groomed up well
We picked up an inch of snow overnight and that groomed well into the base. We retracked 35 km and groomed 30 k for skating.
Warming up
The temps warmed up to 18 today and the skiing improved. We regroomed about 25 km today and the ski surfaces are firm and ski like silk. We will be back out in teh AM with the groomers,
Slept in
I got to sleep in this morning as the snow stopped and the ski traffic was low yesterday. The ski trails were still in great shape. I got to check in on teh single tracks as I had a nice ski with the Clydesdales tonight at 4 PM. Firm tracks good glide and 3 above.
