I knew I should not have complained last week when it snowed every day for 10 days straight. We have been grooming daily. Our plan for the morning is to reset classic only again and powertill about another 15-20 km of skate /classic trails. Make sure you check a trail report beofre heading out to ski. The trails are holding up fine, we have about an 9-12 inch base.
Super skiing and it is snowing
Today was reported to be super conditions and all 58 out of the 60 km were groomed this morning. The Pisten Bully has been working hard to keep the trails in tip top shape. The trails are not icy and very skiable….after grooming. Ski Sale continues with $400 demo skis with bindings. These are $500 race skis with $100 bindings; save $200! Good skiing today
57 of the 60 km were groomed last night and this morning. The trails skied well after being powertilled. Skiers were quite impressed with the conditions.
18 F and back to winter
Temps cooled down to 18 overnight and the trail froze up hard. Teh Pisten Bully is out powertilling and we we will have a portion of the 60 km of trails ready for skiing at 9 AM . The surface will be ground up granular, unless the forecast snow brings in new snow to mix in.
Cooling off
The temps were warm againtoday but we powertilled about 12 km and had skiers pleased with spring like conditions. It is cooling off tonight and we will be back out in teh AM to regroom . The base is holding up fine.
