The Pisten Bully is out!
After 46 inches of snowfall (since Monday) on the opening day of skiing, the Pisten Bully came out tonight. We have been packing the snow as it falls to freeze the ground and now we are able to take the PB out. We have been getting a foot of snow daily since Monday…. and we have been grooming all day every day since then.
Opening in the AM
We had 6 of us out today packing 70 km of trail. We hope to regroom and track 20-40 in the AM for skiing depending on how much snow we get.
Thursday opener!
We are planning on opening Thursday at 9 AM. We have been grooming with a large crew to keep up with the storm and it looks like Thursday we will have about 30-40 km open and in some of the best early season ski conditions we have have seen in years. We set tracks today on the major trails to see how the base was doing and it is looking real nice. One of the groomers skied after work tonight and reported the trail as mid winter conditions. We just need to freeze down a few trouble areas and we should be good for Thursday AM!

10.5 inches of snow
Just coming for the night and I see on the ABR measuring post we have 10.5 inches of snow that fell today. Groomers will be back ou tin the AM in full force!
