The snow seems to be stopping

Just coming in from grooming with the Pisten Bully. The snow has stopped. The trails have been groomed daily and ski conditions are super! The 11th Annual Grooming Clinic is this Wed and will be held on the dog trails across the street here at ABR. The parking lot across the road and the 4 km of trails Spanky’s, Rascal’s and rudy’s will be closed for skiers so we can test the groomers for Jan 19th. We apologize for the inconvenience. The other 56 km of ski trails are groomed and available.;the main trailhead is also as normal.

Snowing again

It is snowing again, we received about 3-4 inches of snow during the day today and had the groomers out during the day doing touch up. The Pisten Bully is headed out tonight.

New Snow

The SISU SKi Fest is over. It went well with good participation. It snowed 8 inches from 7 AM to noon. That slowed the racers down. The groomers were out from midnight to 8 AM. Sunday we plan to be back out firming up the new snow.

Winter Sport

It has snowed about 2 inches since 5 PM, the groomers are headed out. The snow is a cold dry snow. Most likely there will be some snow on top of the grooming. A fore runner will be skiing in the track ahead of the race. Lucky this is a winter sport!

Ready for the SISU

The course is ready for the SISU Saturday, firm and smooth. We are getting some snow tonight, so we are delaying the grooming for a few hours.

Day skier trails open will be the classic only and the 4 km skate classic dog trails until 1 PM after the racers are gone and the Taste n Tour are gone.
