We reset 15 km of classic tracks this morning and they turned out very good. A few thin areas under the pines on Hemlock Trail. 37 km of skate lanes were also groomed and have very good coverage with the exception of 2 steep down hills. 40 km of old classic track is worn but skiing OK as well.
We are open daily including Christmas Day 9-5.
Snow today!
It might not be what we are used to but every inch counts. We picked up a good inch today which will level out the trails and freshen them up. We have 4 groomers scheduled to head out early AM and regroom and retrack classic. Trails skied well today.
Still skiing on good snow
We are still skiing on good snow and the conditions are good. A few of the steep hills have a thin base and ice but can be avoided. We are skiing on 55 k and 40 k is quite good.
Trails holding up fine
We groomed 30 k of combination trails this morning. We have not had any snow today. The dusting yesterday improved the classic skiing today.
Super skiing today
The trails are really shaping up with the grooming and the new snow. While we only picked up a dusting overnight, every grooming is making the trails flatter and smoother. We had the teeth down on the Ginzu groomers today and the trails skied smoother today. We groomed 40 km this morning and will be back out in the AM.
