We had a nice 8 days of skiing and today was with spring like conditions. The base is now worn down and thin and getting unsafe to ski. We are closed as of tonight until we get more snow.
Sunday Morning
We are just coming in from grooming the skate lanes this morning. The temp got down to only 34 last night and the snow did not freeze solid. The groomed surface is skiable and the classic tracks on the main trails are skiable. The base is quite worn from skiing yesterday and from groming . There are many thin areas that need to be avoided and some thin soft areas where you can ski through the base. The trail may become unsafe and unskiable for Monday. We may have to close on Monday until the base freezes again and more snow arrives . We will update again at 5 PM today.
Saturday night
We had a good day of skiing. Temps got up to 35-37. The trails are holding up so far. A bit of mist at 4 PM but no real rain. We plan to head out in the early AM hours and regroom as we are able to and as conditions allow.

Skate lanes were groomed, temp is at 32, no rain , no snow skiing is very good at 9 AM
