We have been skiing now for over a month, not closing for the warm days w sun. Skiers have really enjoyed the skiing so far.
We have not received any significant snow for over a week. We closed the southern section and the big hills of Peltonen until we get more snow. However we have been grooming 20+ km every AM and skiing on 40 km of trails that are covered with snow, any small bare spots can be avoided easily. Skiers are still enjoying the skiing and are directed to avoid the icy sections and closed sections.
We will most likely reset some of the classic tracks closer to the weekend. And we will blow the leaves out of the tracks too.
