It sounds like the snow is coming Sat at around noon, We will try to open as soon as we have enought snow on the trail groomed. We will update as soon as it starts snowing. The Ski Shop is ope 10-4 Saturday snow or no snow!
No new snow
It hurts to type this, but I feel I owe it to the customer base, many whom are friends. We still do not have skiable snow. It was 34 today and the recent fallen snow is soft and mushy; the old ice base is there but not skiable. We are ready to go more than ever, we just need more snow to open for skiing. YES..It is forecast for Saturday. The ski shop is open from 10-4 Saturday regardless of the ski trails being open.
No New snow today
Still not enough snow to ski on. Trails are clsoed again today. Looks like Saturday we may may get some according to John Dee.
Grooming tonight
.The snow has been light but steady. We were out tonight with the Gators and rolling the new snow. It is starting to look like winter again. We were not open for skiing today, if the snow keeps up we will reopen for skiing soon. Demo days are still on the schedule for Sunday
Still snowing
The BIG STORM missed BIG SNOW COUNTRY. Not enough snow to regroom and open for skiing. A bit of snow over the last 48 hours and it is snowing still tonight. We are getting close to having enough for a grooming cycle, we will see what the trails look like in the AM. Trails are still closed as of tonight. Demo days are still on for this Sunday. We know that we can go from open to closed overnight. Still a residual base in the woods from the last 9 days of skiing.
