The ski shop is order for mail order or by appointment only. Discounted Season passes are on sale by phone order or mail in checks. ABR E5299 West Pioneer Road Ironwood MI 49938. Discounted rates $110 Adults (18-64), $95 for Jr and Sr. $300 for a Family.
Thank you for your patronage, have a nice summer see you back next November!
The ABR Trails is open for the weekend but due to warm temps we will be closing this Sunday at 5 PM. We are still grooming the main trails daily in the trails are skiable with thin areas and spring corn snow.
We did not freeze last night but groomed again this morning. the corn spring snow is still skiing fine for spring conditions, a few thin areas and some wet spots to ski around. Very typical for late March, not so typical for mid March, We plan to groom daily through Sunday night and then review the forecast for next week.
We have had some warm temps this week, like other Midwest Ski areas. We even had 2 hours of rain today. What we have had is 165 inches of snow and almost daily grooming with a Pisten Bully so our base is packed and can survive warm temps and some rain. We are still grooming daily, today we groomed 31 km of skate and classic trails. We may not last until the end of March if the warm temps and or rain continues on a daily basis. My guess is we will make it through this weekend and then take a look at the trail and weather forecast to decide the plan.
