Just coming in from grooming. The trails seem to be back to shape after the SISU Ski Fest. It took 2-3 groom cycles to get the trails back to normal. The trails are in tip top shape, no ice no bare spots.
Saturday PM
We had a nice SISU Ski Fest, the weather cooperated and we had a good course. Parts of the course were regroomed right after the race for day skiers at noon today and the rest of the course will be regroomed early Sunday morning for tip top conditions.
Thursday PM
We had some nice mild temps today in the teens. The snow is still cold dry powder but reports from the skiers were very good glide on a firm track. Friday we have all trails open and groomed.
We have the SISU Ski Fest starting at ABR Trails at 9 AM Cst Saturday so the skate trails will be closed on Saturday AM from 9-12 but the classic trails will be groomed and open all day. All Trails will be open from noon on. There is still rom in the race and a few openings in the Taste n Tour, you can still register www.sisuskifest.com

Global Cooling ends Wednesday?
We started to see some local skiers today. It looks like temps are warming for the rest of the week. he groomers are headed back out Wed AM . There is a Fastwax Waxing Clinic here in one of the heated areas Wednesady January 8th from 5-6. Ray and Paulette Niemi will be doing the clinic and helping with with the SISU wax tips for the weekend.
